Starting in Glastonbury, Somerset. Coming soon.
What if kindness could find you?
What if you could send it on?
FreeCoff connects people, local venues and communities through real food, drinks and everyday acts of generosity.
How FreeCoff worksMore than coffee
It started with a coffee.
It doesn't stop there.
A FreeCoff can be a coffee, breakfast, lunch, meal, soft drink or another eligible item offered by a participating venue.
The idea stays the same: someone pays it forward, someone else gets to enjoy it.

Something local
How FreeCoff works
Four simple steps.
- 1
Pay it forward
Choose a participating venue and buy an eligible item for someone else.
- 2
The venue accepts it
The venue receives the full advertised value of the item and decides when it can be made available.
- 3
Someone nearby sees it
Available FreeCoffs can be discovered through the FreeCoff community.
- 4
They collect it
A simple, secure collection process lets the venue confirm that the FreeCoff has been enjoyed.
And when it is collected, the person who paid it forward can see the impact they made.
You don't need to know someone to do something kind for them.
FreeCoff is designed around a simple idea: communities become stronger when generosity can move between people who may never otherwise meet.
You might pay forward lunch today.
Someone else might buy your coffee six months from now.
Giving and receiving are moments — not identities.

Good for community.
Good for local venues.
- Receive the full advertised menu value of funded FreeCoffs
- Choose which eligible items can be paid forward
- Control when funded FreeCoffs become available
- Manage collection through simple FreeCoff tools
- Introduce new people to your venue
- Visibly take part in your local community
- Understand the community impact you help create
Venues stay in control. FreeCoff should never create an unlimited operational obligation for a venue — venues remain in control of fulfilment.
Register venue interestTransparent economics
Simple by design.
The venue receives the full advertised menu value. No discounting of the funded item.
FreeCoff's standard platform fee is 5% of the funded item value, capped at 50p per FreeCoff transaction. Payment-processing charges may apply separately.
FreeCoff is a purpose-led social enterprise and technology platform — not a charity. The platform fee funds FreeCoff's technology and operations.
Example
£4.00 coffee
Payment-processing charges may apply separately.
FreeCoff in your pocket.
The FreeCoff app will make it simple to discover participating venues, pay something forward, find available FreeCoffs and see the impact of what you've shared.

No smartphone required.
FutureFreeCoff is being designed so that participation does not depend on owning the latest phone.
The future FreeCoff Community Pass will provide a simple physical way for eligible users to interact with participating venues where appropriate — with accessibility, privacy and dignity built in.
Designed with communities, not around them.
FreeCoff can work with trusted local organisations to help ensure that people who may benefit most can receive appropriate priority access.
FreeCoff does not need to publicly label why someone has priority access.
