Why join

Good for community. Good for local venues.

Customers already love paying it forward. FreeCoff makes it simple, visible and properly accounted for.

Full advertised menu value

Every funded FreeCoff pays the venue the full advertised menu price.

No need to discount

FreeCoff isn't a voucher scheme. The funded item is paid for in full.

Control over items

You decide which eligible items can be paid forward.

Control over availability

You decide when funded FreeCoffs become available to collect.

Secure collection

A simple, secure process lets your team confirm each collection.

Operational safeguards

FreeCoff should never create an unlimited operational obligation. You remain in control of fulfilment.

New faces

Introduce new people to your venue through the FreeCoff community.

Local impact

Visibly take part in your community and understand the impact you help create.

How it works for you

Four simple steps.

  1. 1

    Pay it forward

Choose a participating venue and buy an eligible item for someone else.

  2. 2

    The venue accepts it

The venue receives the full advertised value of the item and decides when it can be made available.

  3. 3

    Someone nearby sees it

Available FreeCoffs can be discovered through the FreeCoff community.

  4. 4

    They collect it

A simple, secure collection process lets the venue confirm that the FreeCoff has been enjoyed.

Transparent economics

Simple by design.

The venue receives the full advertised menu value. No discounting of the funded item.

FreeCoff's standard platform fee is 5% of the funded item value, capped at 50p per FreeCoff transaction. Payment-processing charges may apply separately.

FreeCoff is a purpose-led social enterprise and technology platform — not a charity. The platform fee funds FreeCoff's technology and operations.
